How D2W search works
D2W is a search and comparison site. We ask travel partners what they charge, show you the answers side by side, and send you to the partner to book.
Where prices come from
Every price is quoted by a partner at the moment you search. D2W does not store old prices and show them later, and it does not add a mark-up on this site.
When a partner quotes in a different currency from the one you picked, we show their original amount and, beside it, an approximate conversion using European Central Bank reference rates. The partner price is the one you will pay.
How results are ranked
Cheapest is the lowest total price. Fastest is the shortest total journey time. Best balances the two, with price weighted slightly more than time.
No partner can pay to be ranked higher.
When you open a deal
We ask the partner for the current price first. If it has changed, we tell you before you leave. If the fare has gone, we say so.
If a partner has not given D2W a link to its booking page — for example while a partner is connected in test mode — the button explains that instead of sending you somewhere that will not work.
How D2W is paid
Searching is free. When D2W agrees referral terms with a partner, it may be paid when a search leads to a booking — and that will never change the price you are shown or the order of the results.
